Here at Posner Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, we’re always excited to see a new version of one of our favorite vehicles. Many 2018 models have arrived at our dealership in recent months, but that doesn’t mean that it’s too early to start talking about 2019 vehicles. The 2019 Jeep® Cherokee is getting ready to make its debut, and big fans of this SUV might notice a few big changes.
The current version of the Jeep Cherokee hasn’t received a major refresh since 2013. That’s when the model became more of a crossover, with less of a focus on off-road adventures. Make no mistake though, it’s still a capable vehicle. It’s received a few updates since then, but the 2019 Jeep Cherokee marks the start of a new generation.
The first big difference you’ll notice is the front end. This new Jeep vehicle’s split headlights have been merged into single ones, making it bear a closer resemblance to models like the Jeep Grand Cherokee or the Jeep Compass. The front bumper and grille are rounder now, but it still has a distinctive look that sets it apart from other Jeep models.
The rear of the vehicle has also been redesigned. The rear bumper is different and the 2019 Jeep Cherokee looks less bulky overall. The taillights have also been redesigned. That’s all we know so far, but once this new model makes its debut we’ll be able to learn about new in-car tech, this model’s power options, and everything else. We can’t wait to see it in action!
